After much discussion and consultation, it was decided to bring the three parishes of St Patrick's Cathedral, St Benedict's Newton, and St Peter's Waiheke Island, under one administration.

Where there were once one or more priests resident in each parish, we now have only two, Monsignor Bernard Kiely and Fr Tony Dunn sm, assisted by Monsignor David Tonks.

ACCESS.

St Benedict's is wheel-chair friendly, with ramps and fully accessible toilets.

Parking is available in the Tournament carpark opposite the church. It is accessed from 2 entrances in Alex Evans St, and is available from noon on Saturday to Sunday evening. The carpark is free of charge for this time and you may ignore the Pay and Display signs.

PLEASE NOTE: (1) a few spaces in the top carpark are 24hr TOW AWAY. (2) There is NO parking in the car park beside the Masonic Hall in St Benedict's St. It is a TOW-AWAY area!
